Reigvinny was built on a single frustration: most product review sites are not actually reviewing products. They are running affiliate link farms dressed up as editorial content — writing glowing summaries of products they have never touched, optimised purely for search rankings and commission payouts.
We decided to do it differently. Every product we cover is either purchased with our own money at full retail price or provided by a brand under a strict editorial-independence agreement that gives them zero influence over our ratings, conclusions, or whether we publish at all. Our reviews are written by people who have actually used the products — for weeks, not hours.
Our Mission
To be the most trustworthy product review destination on the internet — in the categories we cover. We would rather cover 50 products properly than 5,000 products superficially. Depth and honesty are non-negotiable.
When you read a Reigvinny verdict, you should be able to trust that it reflects genuine hands-on experience, independent judgement, and a complete picture of both the strengths and the weaknesses of what we are recommending.
What We Cover
Reigvinny focuses on six core categories where we have built genuine testing expertise:
- AI & Tech Tools — AI assistants, image generators, video tools, SEO platforms, and productivity software. We run these tools on real workloads for a minimum of four weeks before publishing.
- Home & Lifestyle — Furniture, appliances, home organisation, and everyday products that make domestic life better. We install, use, and live with these products.
- Health & Beauty — Skincare, wellness devices, supplements, and personal care. We partner with reviewers who use products for a full skin-cycle minimum (28 days) before assessment.
- Art & Crafts — Supplies, tools, and kits for creative hobbyists. Reviewed by practising artists who work in the relevant medium.
- Food & Gifts — Specialty food, subscription boxes, and gift products. Tasted, gifted, and assessed for value and experience quality.
- Tools & Equipment — Hand tools, power tools, outdoor equipment, and technical gear. Tested on actual projects, not demonstration tasks.
How We Test
Our testing methodology varies by category, but the principles are consistent:
- Minimum use period: No review is published after less than two weeks of actual use. Most reviews reflect four to six weeks of regular, real-world use.
- Multiple reviewers where relevant: For products where user variation matters (skincare, ergonomic products, tools), we collect experience data from multiple users before publishing a single verdict.
- Controlled comparisons: Where we make comparative claims, we test alternatives in the same conditions over the same period.
- Updated reviews: We revisit and update reviews when a product changes, when new versions are released, or when our experience with a product changes over time.
Our Rating System
Every review carries two scores: a 1–5 star rating and a 1–10 Reigvinny score. The score is broken down across five to six category-specific dimensions, each weighted by importance for that product type. A product scoring 9.0+ is exceptional in its category. A score below 7.0 means we do not recommend it.
Our ratings are not curved or normalised — we give the score the product deserves, regardless of how it affects our affiliate revenue. We have given 6.5s to products with generous affiliate programmes and 9.5s to products with no affiliate programme at all.
Our Editorial Independence Guarantee
Reigvinny has affiliate relationships with a number of retailers and brands. These relationships are how we fund our testing operations. However, our editorial team and our commercial team operate independently:
- Affiliate commission rates are never discussed during the review process.
- Editors do not know, and are not permitted to know, the commission rate for a product they are reviewing.
- We will publish a negative review of a product even where an affiliate relationship exists.
- We will decline to publish a review if we cannot do it honestly — we do not publish fake positives.

Corrections Policy
We take factual accuracy seriously. If you believe a review contains an error — a wrong specification, an outdated price, or an incorrect comparison — please contact us with the specific claim and your evidence. We review all factual correction requests within 48 hours and publish corrections transparently when errors are confirmed.
We do not delete negative reviews because a brand has updated its product. We update them — with the original verdict preserved and the update clearly dated.
Who We Are
Reigvinny is an independent publication. Our editorial team includes writers and testers with backgrounds in consumer technology, home design, wellness, food, and digital marketing — people who were already buying and using products in these categories before they started writing about them.
We are a small team, and we are proud of that. It means every published review has had real human attention, not an AI content pipeline, not a content farm, and not a team of writers who have never left a desk to test the products they are describing.
