Reigvinny (“we”, “our”, “us”) participates in affiliate marketing programmes. This page explains what that means, how it affects our content, and what you can expect from our editorial process.
What Is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a performance-based revenue model in which a publisher (Reigvinny) earns a commission when a reader clicks a designated link and completes a qualifying action — usually a purchase. The commission is paid by the retailer or brand; it does not add any cost to your purchase and does not change the price you pay.
Affiliate links are how we fund the testing, writing, and maintenance of Reigvinny. Without this revenue, we could not purchase products for review, maintain our editorial team, or keep the site operating.
How to Identify Affiliate Links
On Reigvinny, affiliate links are typically found in:
- Buttons labelled “Get Best Price”, “Shop Now”, “Visit [Brand Name]”, or “Check Price”
- In-text links to product pages on retailer or brand websites
- Comparison tables where products link to their purchase pages
All affiliate links open in a new tab and carry the rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" attribute as required by Google’s webmaster guidelines and standard disclosure practice. We also display an affiliate notice near every CTA button that reads: “Affiliate link — we may earn a small commission if you purchase, at no extra cost to you.”
Links to news sources, research citations, government websites, and general reference material are never affiliate links.
Our Affiliate Partners
We maintain affiliate relationships with a range of retailers and brands across our coverage categories. These include, but are not limited to:
- AI & Tech Tools: ElevenLabs, Semrush, InVideo AI, Looka, HeyGen, Runway ML, and direct brand programmes
- Home & Lifestyle: Snailax, Arzopa, and product-specific brand programmes
- Health & Beauty: Edinburgh Skincare and brand-direct programmes
- Tools & Equipment: Kaiweets, Flame King, and brand-direct programmes
- Art & Crafts: Cheerful Painting and brand-direct programmes
- Food & Gifts: Santa Barbara Chocolate, Haloorodje, World Net Gifts, and brand-direct programmes
The existence of an affiliate relationship with a brand does not mean we recommend all of their products. We review individual products on their merits.
Does Affiliate Revenue Affect Our Reviews?
No. Our editorial decisions are made completely independently of commercial considerations.
Here is exactly how our editorial firewall works:
- Our editorial team does not know the commission rate for any product they are reviewing. This information is held separately.
- Affiliate agreements are negotiated after a decision to cover a product is made — not before.
- We publish negative reviews of products where affiliate relationships exist. We have done so, and will continue to do so.
- We do not accept payment for positive coverage, sponsored reviews, or guaranteed recommendations.
- We have declined affiliate relationships with brands whose products we could not honestly recommend.
Our long-term business depends on reader trust. A misleading recommendation that generates one commission at the cost of a reader’s trust is a bad trade — and we treat it that way.
Products We Purchase vs. Products Provided for Review
The majority of products reviewed on Reigvinny are purchased by our editorial team at full retail price with no involvement from the brand. In cases where a brand provides a product for review:
- We disclose this at the top of the relevant review
- The brand has no input into our verdict, rating, or conclusions
- We are under no obligation to publish the review or to publish a positive review
- Provided products are treated identically to purchased products in our testing methodology
Prices and Availability
Prices shown in our reviews are accurate at the time of writing but may change without notice. Always verify the current price on the retailer’s or brand’s website before purchasing. We try to update prices in our reviews periodically, but we cannot guarantee real-time accuracy.
FTC and International Compliance
This disclosure is made in compliance with:
- United States: Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials — 16 C.F.R. Part 255
- United Kingdom: ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) and CMA (Competition and Markets Authority) guidance on affiliate marketing disclosures
- European Union: Directive 2026/29/EC on unfair commercial practices and applicable national transpositions
In plain language: we tell you when we have a financial interest in what we recommend, because we think you deserve to know, and because the law requires it.
